Debutantes are exemplary and poised young women, but most of all they are philanthropists.  A few outstanding young women have been selected to participate in this year’s Heroines Debutante Ball.  The event prepares young women to enter adulthood with skills to benefit themselves and their community, both socially and culturally.

The young ladies will be formally presented to society at the New Zion United Methodist Church Family Life Center, Crystal Springs, MS on October 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.  The speaker will be Mrs. Betty Graves Spencer.  It will be a night of fine food, great entertainment and wonderful surprises.  The event goes much deeper than gowns, gloves and glitz.

Debutante Iesha Evans is the daughter of Mark and Christine Neal of Hazlehurst.  She is a member of New Pisgah M. B. Church.

Debutante Tenisha Lewis is the daughter of Rev. Hugh T. and Mary Lewis of Georgetown, MS.  She is a member of Brushy Creek M.B. Church.

Debutante Raylin Parrish is the daughter of Roderick and Stephanie Parrish.  She is a member of Mt. Sinai Church.

Debutante TeKeyah Tianna Tillman is the daughter of Jerrick and La’Kimberly Taylor and Fredrick Tillman of Crystal Springs, MS.  She is a member of Glory Hill Church of God in Christ.
The ball is a fundraiser that will help the 11th District Heroines in the many efforts of serving Copiah, Adams, and Jefferson counties.
