Mary Louise Roberson Dickey, 79, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Hazlehurst Funeral Home Chapel in Hazlehurst. Rev. Eddie Alsworth will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Heights Cemetery in Brookhaven. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 2-5 PM on Thursday at the funeral home in Hazlehurst.
 
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of John Roberson, Sr. and Mary Short Roberson. She was a member of Shiloh MB Church in Pleasant Hill. She was known for her cooking ability and her love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrod Dickey; three brothers - Irvin Roberson, John Roberson, and Lucky Roberson; and three sisters - Mittie Black, Berteal Sailes, and Lue Emma Roberson.
 
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Dickey of Hazlehurst; three sons, Sherrod Dickey, Jr. and Willie Dickey, Sr. both of Hazlehurst and John Henry Dickey of Grand Rapids, MI; one sister - Ruby Roberson of Brookhaven; one sister-in-law - Maude Roberson of Brookhaven and eight grandchildren.
