Thad Cochran, six term U.S. Senator won Copiah County by a larger margin that first reported during the June 24 Run Off Election.

Cochran won by 1,841 to McDaniel’s 1,479. On June 24, the unofficial results were Cochran 1,764 votes and McDaniel 1,415.
